Being an editor isn’t just about knowing how to Rotoscope, what to do when your nest sequence is misbehaving, or adding that cool, final transition. The best editors are the best timekeepers, the most creative thinkers. And, in a football context, those who know their audience extremely well.

Michael ticks all of these boxes. The range of visuals he comes up with in football videos to display what he’s talking about are so diverse, with each frame clearly having a ton of thought put into it.

I’ve been incredibly impressed with how quickly he’s developed his style over the past year, picking up tricks that even surpassed my abilities. He’s a self-learner. I know that he can be left to his own devices to solve problems.
